Regardless of what I'm filming, my favorite scenes are those that include real human emotions, whether happy or sad, funny or terrifying. This series included plenty of exposure to all of those and more. The mothers, fathers, doctors, and their families allowed us to follow them during their most intimate moments, from the highest highs to the deepest lows. It's an honor to be trusted to share those kinds of experiences with people. Even today, I can't watch some of these scenes without tearing up, the intensity of actually being there still fresh in my mind.
